This is the Registration form for participating in the "Shiva-Shakti" vocal workshop being conducted by Sruthilayalu USA. Registration includes online workshops of eight timeless masterworks by greatest saint composers from Gaana Kala Saraswathi, "Sangeet Natak Academi" awardee Vidushi Dr. Pantula Rama garu. Sruthilayalu is grateful to the esteemed artist for her consent to render these online workshops. Registration also includes participation in main event where all registered participants will render the songs together on the stage with seasoned accompanists.

About Guru Dr. Pantula Rama:

Dr. Pantula Rama is a distinguished exponent of Carnatic music, having achieved international recognition as "The Golden Voice" for her remarkable three-octave vocal range and captivating lower octave delivery. She has been lauded as the "Nightingale of Andhra Pradesh" and the "Melody Queen." Her performances on prominent global stages have cultivated a dedicated international following, who appreciate the artistry and classical integrity of her music.

Dr. Rama commenced her musical training under the tutelage of her father, Sri Pantula Gopala Rao. Her musical development was further refined by "Sangeeta Kalasagara" Sri Ivaturi Vijayeswara Rao. Possessing an extensive repertoire and a highly innovative methodology, she is celebrated for her interpretations of both historical and contemporary compositions. Her distinctive style, characterized by exceptional artistry, precise diction, a consistently fresh perspective, and a harmonious integration of Carnatic music's various components, captivates audiences globally. Dr. Rama is particularly renowned for her unique approach to the construction of Ragam, Tanam, Pallavi, the pinnacle of Carnatic music, where she seamlessly merges intellectual rigor with aesthetic appeal, leaving audiences spellbound. She is also distinguished by her judicious and fluid incorporation of musical elements from diverse genres. Dr. Rama maintains a substantial global student body, encompassing both prodigious talents and established professionals.

Carnatica and Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Sabha, Chennai bestowed upon Dr. Rama the "Pallavi Chakravarthi" title in June 2026, in recognition of her mastery in "Ragam Tanam Pallavi" construction and rendition. Dr. Rama has been named the recipient of the "Sangeet Natak Academi Puraskar" (2025) for her excellence in Carnatic Music, in a recent announcement.

Workshop registration closes on July 15th 2026

Fees: $220 per participant (includes workshop and stage performance at the main event)

Please note:
1. Fees are due at the time of Registration (payment link will be visible upon submitting this form)
2. Fees are non-refundable
3. Each workshop group will have 2 sessions covering a total of 8 songs. This will be an in-person workshop with guru joining remotely via Zoom
4. Regional sync/practice sessions will follow the workshops
5. Fees apply to participants of all ages
6. Attending the workshop is mandatory for participating in the main event and similarly attending the main event is mandatory after attending workshop
7. Workshop group preference will be on a first come first serve basis
8. Workshop location for each group will be announced based on concentration of participants

9. A sibling/family discount of $50 will be applied.

10. Participant fee for both workshops combined is $350

11. Additional Groups/Sessions will be opened based on the registration count
